Let's help 1st graders struggling with their reading!

Please help me support struggling readers!

Hi all,

I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that less than 50% of 3rd and 5th graders here in Jamaica, Queens are reading at grade level, I knew I had to help.

That's why I decided to participate in the Jamaica Read-a-thon on Giving Tuesday (Tuesday, November 28th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm) to support A Better Jamaica Inc. and their Jamaica Reads program. With your support, we'll be able to help 1st graders who are reading below grade level catch up to their peers. In other words, your support will help us help children succeed in the short, medium, and long-term—and you can be a part of it.
